Decomposing Body Found Near Baltimore School

A decomposing body was found on Tuesday afternoon not far from a school in Northeast Baltimore, police say.

The body was found near The Stadium School in the 1400 block of Exeter Hall Avenue in Baltimore.

Shortly after 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, officers were called to the 1400 block of Exeter Hall, near The Stadium School, where a person was found dead in a nearby wooded area.

The body was reportedly in the late stages of decomposition. It has not been identified pending an autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Detectives are now investigating the death.
